Old School

Once the school for the village of Howick, this pretty one bed cottage has retained its charm and character, with spacious living accommodation over two floors, set in a peaceful village location, with a large enclosed garden to enjoy the sun.

Having walking access to Howick Hall’s Arboretum from the cottage, you are welcome to walk dogs before 10.30am or after 6pm in the arboretum and have direct access to the gardens where dogs are permitted Monday to Wednesday during seasonal opening hours. A short walk from the cottage and you are on the Heritage Coastline with walks on the Northumbrian Coastal Path heading north to Craster, a pretty fishing village or south to Alnmouth.

Slightly further afield is Alnwick, a market town with a range of eateries and the fabulous Alnwick Castle and Gardens.
