Sheelagh, Rosie, Rob and Family - May 2025 "This is our second visit to Blacksmith's Cottage in 2 months. This time with my daughter, son-in-law and children. We have had a wonderful time, the children loved Embleton beach and Alnwick Castle and Gardens. The fact it is a return visit speaks for itself. We love the property.
Ramsey Family - May 2025 "Last minute find for the long weekend - had a great stay thanks! Enclosed garden was ideal for the young kids running around and the house is lovely."

Jan, Pippa & Cooper - March 2025 "A very warm welcome was provided by Anna to the lovely Blacksmith's Cottage. It was our first visit to Northumberland and we couldn't have picked a better place to base our holiday. The cottage, garden and its surroundings were perfect, easy reach of the wonderful coastline and stunning beaches."
Hammonds Family - March 2025 "Fabulous cottage, very comfortable with everything you would need. We loved the peace and quiet of its location with only the wildlife and farms as neighbours, yet close enough to local amenities, gorgeous beaches, local walks and attractions."
Sheelagh and Andrew - March 2025 "We have had a wonderful stay at Blacksmiths Cottage. Newly converted, it has been finished to the very highest standard and has a touch of luxury with lovely fabrics and finishes. Although only two of us we did appreciate the internal space and this cottage works equally well for a couple. The large secure garden and the quiet location was perfect for our dog and there was a spot in the sun at all times of the day. The addition of the outside hose is so helpful to wash the sand and mud off both dogs and humans. Access to the arboretum is a real bonus with walks to the coastal path and deserted beaches. Anna made us feel so welcome and we have already rebooked to bring our family and grandchildren in May. This really has everything we look for in a holiday cottage and we couldn’t ask for more."
Webster Family - February 2025 "Thank you for a truely friendly warm welcome to Blacksmiths Cottage. What a treat to be the first guests, we will return. Blacksmiths Cottage has kept us cosy and warm with its beautiful fire, its clean, warm, well equiped and in a perfect location, quiet and secluded with a lovely secure garden."
